Traveled from Bakersfield California to Los Angeles today. Not many miles but a lot of climb up and down elevation. Traveled I-5 which had a good layout and climb. Worked the car but driving not bad. Car ran warmest it ever has when moving, but still in safe zone.
Went to the Reagan Library and toured it most of afternoon. Lots of good exhibits and covered Reagan thoroughly and well. Enjoyed seeing it. Has Air Force One and got to walk thru it. The grounds are way done.
Staying in Sylmar. Ate at Shakey’s Pizza tonight. Had not seen one in years. Back in the 70s in high school and first year of college in northern Virginia I ate there regularly. Still same pizza but a couple added items. Sign looks same.
