Traveled from LA to Williams Arizona today. Headed east.
Stopped at Hoover Dam and riding outskirts of Las Vegas. At Hoover Dam, went down and looked at the dam and walked back and forth across it and took pictures. Cars can still drive across but we did not. I walked (climbed a bunch of steps) to new bypass bridge. There is a walkway to walk on it. However it was windy today (they recommended high profile vehicles not cross) and the wind did me in making me uncomfortable more than 6 feet from the edge and not where I could see dam. But did get pics of bridge. It is impressive and very stable.
We drove across the bridge and the concrete rails are so high on the south bound side you see nothing. But easy to drive.
Then drove across desert to Williams AZ where will leave from in morning to north rim of Grand Canyon
